Job Description
The Dripping Springs Bartender delivers exceptional customer service and hospitality to all guests to ensure customer loyalty and repeat business. You're a knowledgeable expert on all Dripping Springs Spirits and Mixers and educates customers accordingly. You have experience with handcrafted cocktails and/or kegged cocktails in a high volume setting; serving guests promptly and courteously, maintaining overall bar cleanliness and appearance. You uphold food safety standards and responsible alcohol service. Mixology experience is a plus, as our team creates our cocktail menu, that changes seasonally every spring/summer and fall/winter. All bartenders will also be cross trained to serve/bus. $17-$18 plus tips.
Responsibilities
- Open and prepare tasting room, bar and event bar for daily operations
- Prepare custom created cocktails for guests
- Serves guests promptly and courteously and maintains overall facility cleanliness and appearance
- Upholds food safety and alcohol (TABC) service standards
- Participate in product rotation, inventory, waste management and proper labeling to health dept standards
- Clean equipment and work areas according to sanitation standards
- Sales-minded mentality. You drive PPA through suggestive selling & promote and sell merchandise, gift cards and bottles.

Dripping Springs Distilling is expanding and we are actively looking for hospitality-driven service professionals to join our team. Our brand new Event Venue, Tasting Room and Bar are scheduled to open in May, with our kitchen launching shortly after.
Currently hiring for all positions (full and part time). Positions include: Host, Gift Shop, Bartender, Server, Bar-Back and Busser. $13-$18/hour plus tips.
Hours of Operation: Thursday-Sunday 11am-6pm
Typical Event Hours: Thursday-Sunday 6pm-11pm
Our Front of House crews are the masters of a fun and familial guest experience, responsible for dispensing ‘southern’ style hospitality and ridiculous knowledge of all things Dripping Springs Distilling. Must be detail oriented and versed in proper steps of service and etiquette, in addition to possessing super communication skills and excelling in a fast paced, team oriented environment. Candidates should be cool under pressure, possess an innate sense of urgency and be capable of walking and moving quickly; covering a large outdoor service area.
