Job Description
As a dishwasher, you will be responsible for cleaning all prep equipment, silverware, glassware and dishes according to sanitation requirements. You'll be responsible for keeping the dish pit orgranized and assist the kitchen in keeping the line and prep areas organized and clean. Your pace is critical to turning tables, so a strong work ethic is key to success.
Responsibilities
- Operate dishwasher
- Look out for and report repair needs
- Wash glassware by hand when necessary
- Empty and clean trash and recycling bins
- Rotate dishes
- Clean dish storage
- Assist kitchen staff as needed

Robert who has been in the restaurant industry for more than 50 years has started Alforno's with an objective of providing unique dining experiences to his customers - providing quality Italian dishes with exceptional service under pleasant ambiance.
Robert started his career in New York/New Jersey at Berthas Chateau and has moved to Dallas to work as a pizza maker at Al's Pizzeria in early 80's. His pizza making skills have attracted many followers with loyal customers coming to Al's Pizzeria from Oklahoma and other places to taste his pies. It can be said with certainty that Robert was instrumental in spreading authentic Italian cuisine in Dallas by training many people who are now proud owners of different restaurants in the DFW area.
Whether it is chicken, veal or pasta dishes to our hand tossed New York style pie, calzones or stromboli's all are dishes are made to order. The recipes have been passed on from generation to generation and have been perfected to bring a smile onto each one of our customer's faces.
